I've got a brain itch...can't seem to get the song, Booty Swing by Parov Stelar out of my head. Awesome song, btw. One of the best brain itches I've ever had. lol Thank you, georgiesmith! ;D

The commercial for a Vegas hotel that uses "Booty Swing" is an odd, reaching almost a David Lynch level of disturbing, ad. I can't take my eyes off the screen when it's on. (It runs during House, for some reason.)
I don't know if I have a favorite Hitchcock film.
I love Shadow of a Doubt. My Mom lived in Santa Rosa around the time the movie was shot there so when we watched it together she'd tell me about the locations and what it was like living there. Plus, Joseph Cotten as Uncle Charlie? Stunningly creepy.
I also love Psycho, Rear Window and The 39 Steps. Those 4 are the ones I rewatch the most anyway. I can't say there's a film of his I wouldn't watch again - and I can't say that about many directors.
I've never seen the ad. The song is really cool though..makes me feel like dancing. :) It's hard to choose a favorite Alfred Hitchcock movie, isn't it? He was a very good director. He seemed to know exactly how to twist the minds of his audience in order to get the exact reacion he wanted. Anthony Perkins was amazing in Psycho. I got chills from the ending scene. 39 steps...I don't think I've seen that one. Looks like I'll have to add another film to my list of Hitchcock movies to watch. :)
Rear Window, To Catch A Thief and The Birds are my favorites. Hitchcock was a tyrant (and a bastard) toward his woman actors, but he was a brilliant director. I'll watch one of his movies anytime!
Alfred Hitchcock definitely did not respect either his women or his men actors. He said once that actors were like cattle. They were just there to do what the director told them to do. But despite of his lack of respect for his actors, he was a genius as a director. His films were fantastic! :)
