I kinda liked that one when I saw it.

Of course, he was probably having trouble getting signal outside the pearly gates. :-D

I'm also quite fond of the back page Sprint took in Rolling Stone; as simple as it gets.

Yeah, hadn't seen the sprint ad.

Still, my favorite tribute was when Mel Blank, the voice actor for WarnerBros, died there was a double-page (left/right) spread that showed all the characters he voiced (bugs bunny, etc.) all standing in a group, heads bowed and mouths closed. The single word above the ad was "Speechless."

I'll search and see if I can find it on the web.

Oh, indeed - "Speechless" is a tragic classic, in memoriam to someone whose legacy in animation is known around the world. For me, of course, his seminal role was Bugs - a lapine hero. =:)
