The British Museum

I spent today in the British Museum. Very educational. Just about every room I visited was a room I had never seen before. I left the museum by a different door and managed to get misdirected on the way to the Russell Square tube station. I mistook Bedford Square for Russell Square. They do look a lot alike, especially in the dark. But ( Read more... )

Glad to see you're enjoying yourself. I've never seen the British Museum. In fact it's been a while since I've been to any national museum. Also remember, there is more to the UK than just London. It's hard to remember that one. The BBC and other media organisations frequently forget too.

I'd like to see the north of England, too. But I can only get off from work during the winter and it doesn't seem to snow in London quite as much as up north. The other day London got freezing rain while I think York got snow, if I'm not mistaken.

That's ok. I just had a rather large chip on my shoulder, thats all. ;)

York got a bit of snow, but not as much as the South East. It's all melted here. Enjoy the rest of your visit. :)

I understand. After all, London does get more than its fair share of the attention, and everything else. In fact, I did see a sign in one of the tube stations that read: "There is life outside of London". I'm surprised London Underground let them put it up.
