Hey, look at that. I’m already bored off my tits and don’t want to be here. Who am I kidding? I was bored in the car on my way over here ( Read more... )

Okay, I'm game. What's the former commissioner of the NFL got to do with this?

Yeah, I know it. It's not even something I'm seeking. Maybe I'm just more aware or sensitive to other people's assholery. Last night at Publix I apparently forgot to turn off my cloaking device. I swear to God, every yuppie in the joint was just cutting in front of me to grab the same thing on the shelf that I was. I know it sounds lame, but I swear I wish I had a camera. Then on the way home, a nice gentelman jumped out of his truck on Florida, stood in the middle of my lane, then turned around (after I stopped) and called me a bitch and threatened me to stop. So maybe I'm just noticing unusual amounts of stupid behavior.

Whatever. I agree with your remedy. I've never wanted football to start so much. After The Guys rehearsal, it's me and some Steelers.

That's fucked up. The shit with the guy in the street, that is.

For the record, I haven't abandoned LJ at all. There's a direct correlation between how busy I get and little I post. I still skim my f-list probably twice daily.

Did you see the new grill? *grunt-grunt* I'm getting the side o'meat luxury pack from the butcher again, plus some hot dogs and probably extra chicken.

I did see the new grill. Very shiny. I see an opening season picture in the future with Genma on it.

Yeah, I know you post and read. You post more than I do. You're not amongst those I'm calling out.

I post less and argue in the politics forums more. It keeps me on my toes for university you see. I'm only half modo really, sort of Quasi-modo. But Modo Nixon's work with Jello Biafra was very good. And Lemmy from Modohead is quite an accomplished guitarist as well. He's a bad modo. Now Depeche Modo have really lost their edge, but that's the way the it goes. What's green hides the gold and falls apart? A leper-chaun.
Omg I just can't stop. I've been writing all these stupid bilingual jokes. For instance Which German army never knows where it is? The Bundes where? Before WWII ended they called it the Where Macht? OMG someone kill me. Lollerskates.
/stream of conciousness.

Heh, I'm blogging, just not on here any more. I do still read/lurk about, however. For once I can say that it isn't the warcrack sucking my life away and leaving me in modoville; it's college now.

I'm sorry to hear you're stuck in corporate hell and bored out of your skull. I read a post about a year ago that was brilliant; wondering why you have to spend so much of your time just to make enough money to be able to afford something even vaguely fun on your meager off-time. I wish I had a link, I think you'd have appreciated the sentiment.

If you want something to read while bored, however, the metaquotes community is pretty fun. There's also the StumbleUpon service if you're using FireFox, which will give you lots and lots of nifty things to look at.

I know that I don't post too often, but I also know that when I do post and it is ignored, then I'm even less likely to post. Perhaps people just got tired of talking to themselves.
