I think Joseph uses Drupal. You might bug him. Or maybe it was Drupal that he gave up on.

If it doesn't look good in your livingroom, remember me... :D

I use Drupal and love it! Mambo (now Joomla! or something equally stupid) and Xaraya were the ones I gave up on. Drupal has some quirks, but it's very fast, clean, and extensible. Granular permissions are a problem, but that can be solved with a little third-party module.

I never really liked MT. It seemed too slow and it wasn't open source. I am a firm believer in using open source software for running Web sites.

You forget , I am by no means a PC guru , I crash & burn most of the time , and give up .
I have only used a pc for 6 years and just got into using Macs last year .
So my knowledge base is NILL .
I Have no clue what granular permissions are , or anything , I have had no schooling on any of this stuff , I just read up on things ( cant comprehend most of it ) and see what others are doing ( that are in the know ) and see if I can do the same things .
I have seen some real nice , clean and simple blogs using Drupal and wordpress , I was wanting to see if I had the abilities to try too . But I was wrong .....LOL

Just wish some of you guys lived closer to show and old turd how to do this !
Guess I will have to stay with all the free-be pre made programs .

Not having granular permissions won't phase you right now. Apply for free hosting at F2O.org and set up Drupal. You'll be able to. If you need help, I will be happy to assist.

Oh it looks nice in the living room , sorry :-)
I want to refinish it as some one tried re-finishing it many many years ago , and it has runs all over in the shellac (sp?) and its crystilizing in certain areas . so looks rather ugly .
Plus the hinges on the drop down writing table has screws mising , and some of the holes are striped out , and makes the table wobbley , and the right side cabinet door has a crack in the glass .
