I hope everyone enjoyed their excursions home as much as I did. I've got some supplies and some proper equipment now, so that should make things a bit easier for all of us. Not going to tell you all what, though - those are secrets for me and miss Liechtenstein ( Read more... )

Did you put in the box they gave you? I know there was limited space, but you should have been able to bring SOMETHING back.

The Proton Pack was too big, but I did manage to gather enough spare parts for the PKE meter. As for the rest, I'll have to get back to you on that.

Yeah, it seems to be the punishment for not redeeming yourself before new years.

Redeeming yourself for what? Is this a normal thing for Christmas? [Altair isn't familiar enough with your silly holidays to know if this is normal or not.]

Well the effects aren't. But The coal symbolised people who'd done something bad. I guess we had to make up for that bad thing before new year.

But with regards to this being normal - no. I don't think so, this is just the ghosts' idea of normal though, obviously.

... that's an awfully specific supposition. [Once again, Altair stares at the camera curiously, a little bit suspiciously. What is it with people here and making these oddly specific guesses about things?

He's convinced some of them might be in league with the ghosts. He wouldn't put it past them.]

I'm not sure what it is. Whatever it is, it doesn't feel much like magic, and if it's a curse it's far stronger than anything I can do anything about.
