so I have decided what I am going to get for a tattoo.

i don't care how dorky it is.  i don't care if people think i am a freak.

i am going to get a tribute to the x-files.

it is going to be a very small x (exactly like the logo)   http://blog.ugo.com/images/uploads/xfiles_logo.jpg with text written in a circle around it that says "i want to believe".

i think that sounds really cool, not dorky/freaky at all, and i'm not even an x-files fan! please post pictures when you have it done! =)

yay!

i'm really excited.

now i just have to decide exactly where i want it

my hip... or wrist, or in the small of my back.

wherever it is, it probably won't be much bigger than 2 inches.

i'm glad you don't think it's freaky! :)

put it somewhere where you can actually see it...that's my advice. i dont get tatoos on backs and stuff..why would youg et it if you cant see it easily???

but thats awesome! haha

i have actually amended my design a bit... but i'm still psyched...

this way it will have a personal meaning outside of just the x-files.

i'm going to get an ouroboros (serpent swallowing its tail... emblem of infinity) and then in a circle around the inside it's going to say "i want to believe" in some sort of script.

:-)

i just have NO idea where to get it!

oh AHEM!....as for the small of the back....you can make it big enough and STILL hide it...AND you don't see it all the time (like only catch it in the mirror) so you get all excited to see it and you NEVER get sick of it (i.e. regret it)!

I don't think you can get it small enough to look hott on the hip,and I definitely don't recommend the wrist (harder to hide/super sensitive and painful spot) but that kind of thing you should discuss with the artist.
