So Halloween this year was pretty fantastic. Oct. 22 I judged the annual kids costume contest at Brookfield Zoo. They always invite local reporters to do it, though last year I couldn't due to family being in town. I'm so glad the Brookfield thing went well. It sounded like a blast. Was there generally consensus about what should win? I could see some kids taking losing hard in something like this, and that being the only downer.
