Things That Aren't Fun
Sooooo about an hour ago I'm about to have a bath before heading off to bed when Leann pounds on the bathroom door, saying something about the MyDoom virus.
Being that my computer knowledge, though limited, is about 2749827 times better than hers, before we do anything I yell at not to click anything.
Look at her comp & the screen's gone blue w/ a little pop-up saying Warning!!! RPC MyDoom detected ...etc. w/ OK and Cancel options. But there's no Norton logo and it looks pretty... fake. So I had to hop on my computer & go searching around and whatnot. And then I updated her virus definitions, d/l'd a program that searches for MyDoom, and apparently she doesn't have it. But I'm pretty damn suspicious. So I've got her running a full scan of her C & D drives.
"Yeah, I scanned my computer earlier..."
"Why didn't you tell me to scan mine, too!!!"
[Because I'm not your mother & you're not 5. *cough* But anyway.]
I swear. That girl... has more tech issues than I thought.
