Apartment Above Wellspring Arms, Friday Afternoon
Cable was a little... preoccupied.
He had Jan safely secured in the apartment - about a foot away from him right now. The security system was still running at full efficiency, which meant the immediate threat was taken care of. The police - and any rogue students and adults running the streets - should at least be trying to keep things in order for the time being.
That meant he was locked up in his apartment with a computer or two, running through databases at a fast rate. It was his way of doing research.
He had his hand on the bodyslide button, too, if he had to get out in a hurry. He just wasn't giving up the island yet.
