This is part two of my month long holiday on the Royal Caribbean Cruse ship Voyager of the Seas in May... having made the passage through the Suez Canal we docked in Aqaba Jordan and then down the Red Sea to Safaga Egypt
WOW! i'm so glad you posted a link to the first part because i totally missed it. what fabulous photos and that ship! i love to cruise and this one is beautiful! what a great way to spend a month.
Thanks Love It is a wonderful ship and I could live on it, I thought a month would be to long but it went so quick, saving now for the next one got my eye on St Petersburg Russia next!!
One thing, the last part of the text ended in the middle of a sentence. What happened after you gave the taxi driver paracetamol for his headache? Inquiring minds want to know. ;-)
Hi Love do you mean that you didn't see this bit "I gave him two paracetamol tablets and by the time we got back to the ship he felt fine again" maybe one of the pics needs a little shift over! *Hugs*
Did you shift a picture? The last line is now visible when I just looked, but it had been cut off after "by the time" or near there when I looked earlier.
Glad you were able to help him. I'm sure he appreciated it. :-)
What fabulous pictures of this part of your cruise. It seems like a very relaxing and yet interesting way to have a holiday. I was on the Red Sea coast near Safaga once and did a lot of snorkeling and diving there with a group of students. The coral reefs were so beautiful. So I have fond memories of the place although it was hard work and it was very hot (in May). Thanks for posting this Carol. I'm looking forward to the next installment!
Safaga has changed a lot in five years I was impressed with the area and will go back again maybe in another five years Brian and my son Kevin are going back in a few weeks for the diving they love it, it's nice to keep those fond memories isn't it!
Gosh, you do get around!! I'm trying to catch up with everything after being away for a week myself but I definitely intend to come back to these pics for a proper look when I have more time:)
