Thanks love but at the moment I have lost all the pics of india and Penang the guy in the shop said that they might be Okay but wanted £100 as a safeguard, not likely!! so I have to wait and see!
So sorry you had such a terrible day, but glad that Nan, Emma and Reg are all OK now. Sorry about the computer woes and lost pics too. That's a pity, but I understand your frustration with the scam of the money they want.
Thanks love I hope it was a scam and just the shops way of getting more money as the PC is under guarantee but the main thing is every one is Okay now and looking forward to the new member of the family in January !!

I can't believe that Comet are charging to recover your pictures. Surely if it's still under guarantee then that should come free!! I'd investigate if i were you. There are recovery programmes that you can download once you get your pc back, but i'm not sure how reliable they are. It would be such a pity if you lost your memories!!
Hi love, I had no thought for anyone that day, to be honest I could have paid the £100 but it was his attitude that did it, to be fair the PC was completely dead and he would have downloaded the pics on to another hard drive at a cost, but at least it would have been mine to take home, but we couldn't access the pics as the PC is password protected and impossible to access, I may have been a bit short with him but he was very arrogant and my mind was in turmoil that day see you soon Love xx
That sounds like a horrible day. I hope things have calmed down by now. My own father is 94 and I worry about him a lot. Usually that isn't really necessary but I do it anyway. Have the computer problems been sorted? Hope you get the pictures out! Love Ann
Hi Ann, I am still on my laptop but it's Okay for now as for those holiday pics I will have to wait I'm afraid but life has returned to normal now Emma has her car back and Nan is as good as she will ever be, we never stop worrying about them do we ! *hugs*
