I've just finished my first hour of school. My teacher is so not exciting. She's sitting at the front of the room and talking slowly and kind of quietly. The room's dim and cool and I'm struggling to stay awake. And what kills me is she's the teacher for both classes today and all day tomorrow. Yikes. Maybe things will get more exciting as the day

Unless the mood was 'naptime' I don't think that was her goal. ^_^ She didn't really perk up, but after I ate I felt more awake so it worked out okay.

Is it a little weird being back in class (as a student) or does it feel natural to be back?

Both, really. It's weird to be on the 'other side' again, but natural too since I spent so long going to school and wasn't really away for too long.

I think I like it. I'm trying to approach it in a more effective manner than I've gone at other classes. I'm making it a point to do everything ahead of time and to be more active in class. Or at least that's my goal. In most of my other classes in the past I just showed up, took notes, and would venture an opinion once in a blue moon if the situation really required it. Trying to get more out of this year of school.
