I'm happy and excited. Two of my close friends who are based abroad have come home. One of them came home about a month ago and we've gone out a couple of times already while the other one arrived today and we'll be seeing each other in a couple of days. :) Perfect timing coz my birthday is just around the corner ( Read more... )

I was looking at your past entries and realize that you mentioned you haven't seen Lee in 5 years and I thought to myself how is that possible when I realized that I've been here 8 years and so Lee came over a few years after I did. Just didn't feel that long.

Is Darla there yet? I know she's going home soon. I thought this post was referring to her or maybe Nik. I promised Darla I'd try to visit her and Pascal next year.

Wow, didn't realize you've been in the US for 8 years. Straight out of highschool nga pala. Parang kelan lang.

Yup, Lee migrated to the US in 2002. Since I was able to visit her last year, that makes it 5 years since I last saw her. Nik came home July of last year (still sexy as hell). Then Alms came home July of this year. Darla is gonna be here early-mid December (forgot the exact date) for her church wedding.

Anyway, the person I was referring to is Lee. She's currently here for a week :)

I didn't know she was there! That explains some of the comments I saw on her facebook by Candy! LOL! I'm in Central US really, Southern Central. I moved from Pennsylvania to Oklahoma. Got a nice job offer and still loving it here so I can't complain!

I'm going to try to meet up with Lee in February/March. Right now it's too late for tickets to go back home. I thought Nik was still in the US. I lost touch with her. I know Alms is in Taiwan learning Mandarin. I promised Darla that I'll try to visit her and Pascal and we'd all go to visit Anne in Paris (tama ba?).

yeah, Lee only visited for a week. She's back in Delaware na. Wow, I don't know anything about Oklahoma. My guess is it's an agricultural state, the sort that gets tornadoes.

Oops sorry, I meant Nik visited last year. That time she was taking up her masters in Harvard.

Yup, Anne mentioned that she has plans to study at Parson's Paris sometime next year. She proposed meeting up with Darla and we'll all crash at her apartment in Paris. The problem... tickets to Paris are expensive! I still need to think about it.
