Bad news

Mom learned today that she probably has one of two closely related conditions - Acute Megakaryocytic Leukemia or Acute Panmyelosis with Myelofibrosis.  They are basically rare forms of leukemia.  The prognosis for them is usually not good

This is so hard. I don't know anything about these specific diseases but I'm hopeful that we can do more now than ever before with treatments, and fortunately there is an excellent facility available.

I'm so glad your parents have you. I know you'll all take care of one another.
