Long time no post

Huh, it's been almost a year since I've posted.  At least it's shorter than the two year hiatus I had from 2004-2006.

My life's been mostly uneventful.  A few [slightly] notable things:

- I like my job at the American Antiquarian Society - I only wish that I had more time to actually read a lot of the material that I work with!

- I became an uncle

The Antiquarian society sounds fascinating. I don't envy having to move - I'm much the same.

One of my children (adult, I should add) had gastric bypass surgery and it's worked out great several years later. I'm a supporter of whatever works, and I wish you the best.

I seldom check my FL due to lack of time (and trying to have a life offline) but really like hearing from you when you get a chance.

Hopefully it will work out well - everyone I've met who has had this kind of surgery has gotten positive results.

I'll be trying to post fairly frequently in the near future. I like hearing from you as well.

Nice to hear from you again! One archaelogical ruin here too - and my landlord can kick me out any time she wants with 2 months notice! (It may, however, take at least 6 to sort everything out....)
