A couple weeks ago I noticed that my water heater had a little pool of water around the bottom of the tank. Eek! Since it was very old, I assumed it was time for a new water heater. I had it replaced last week. As it turns out, there was a slightly broken pipe that might have been the source of the water. But, given how old the water heater ( Read more... )

Better to replace the water heater before it breaks. I'm in the same boat, but so far so good, so I keep gambling that it'll be ok awhile longer...

A towel rack made my bathroom soooooo much better. I don't know how I ever got along without it.

Do you actually have a slow leak going, or is it just old? Once I had a slow leak going, I started having nightmares that I was waking up in the middle of the night to 30 gallons of scalding water in my basement. I knew I wasn't going to sleep well until I got it replaced.

I'm really loving the renovations I've made. :)
