Glowing Cities Under a Nighttime Sky

How's this for pretty freakin' incredible?

I love flying, even just in real time. My favourite place to come down in is Vancouver (from the sea) - the coast there is just amazing to fly over, all blue and green and glittering - but cities without fabulous scenery still make me all gooey. Last time we flew into Brisbane there was an electric storm over the Gold Coast - it just looked so incredible. Linc and I swapped seats so we could both see. He thought the pilot should have told everyone to look out the right - I pointed out that most people's reactions to lightning while flying aren't "ooohhhh wow!". We both really enjoy flying and I swear, Brisbane is the most fun to fly into - Melbourne is okay, but Brisbane has the coastline and the buildings and the bridges and it just looks amazing.

I'm writing this from my phone, so can't check easily, but I recall there's a "share" link or something similar, above and to the right of the video. Click on that and it gives you various sharing options, one of which is "embed". The code's given there :)

Yeah, the middle part of flying's like being squished into a box, contortionist-style, for hours. Totally don't expect anyone could do anything other than merely endure it -- though if I saw a display like in the video I reckon I could reassess my feelings!
