It's true that music lessons are typically pretty overpriced, but generally those who teach it as their career are really experienced and knowledgeable. The voice coach that I worked with for several years had her phd in music theory and had been in 100+ operas in her young life. I think it was worth the price. Good luck finding a piano teacher!

I wish the lessons would last longer, though -- maybe I'm just too eager. But, you do have a point there! I just hope to find a really good teacher with extreme patience haha. Thanks!
