It appears that Tom Waits, when scheduling his current tour forgot to add West Coast dates. I know he said he needed to play Kentucky and Tennassee because he needed to pick up some fireworks and someone down there owes him money, but I would think that he could play out here... right? I had seen the news like 10 minutes before you posted, if that, and thought, "Jim's gonna post about how it sucks that Tom Waits isn't coming here, and he's gonna suggest that he goes out to the midwest and gets drunk."

Not that I think it's a bad idea. Go for it!
