"Perhaps there is no running away from the darkness inside" -
Hakkai thought that perhaps this was not what Sanzo envisioned when he said ‘Special Training’.
Gojyo was shirtless, perspiration dripped from his face and some of his hair had come loose from the bandana he was wearing. He was tiring and getting frustrated but Hakkai did not let up on the training. He wanted Gojyo to be able to call up the weapon at will but it was not quite happening yet.
Hakkai was not sure he wanted to admit especially to himself that Gojyo looked endearing like that. He was all wildness and lost, yet somehow confident and determined.

Gojyo thought that perhaps this was not what Sanzo meant when he said ‘Special Training’.
Hakkai was limit-less, cool and his hair flopped loosely over fine-pointed ears. Hakkai seemed to be enjoying the ‘training’ a little too much. Gojyo had barely managed to call up his newly acquired weapon twice to defend himself. However, he could not call it to hand at will.
Gojyo did not want to admit to himself especially that Hakkai distracted him. Hakkai was all wildness, determination, but still, Gojyo sensed a kind of loss. This was an exorcism of sorts for the both of them.

Gojyo smiled his best come-hither smile at the daemon charging him. Sanzo was perceptive like that.
