Some servers today don't know how to take your order in a restaurants. Sometimes, I honestly have had better luck getting my order correct at fast food restaurants at times. It's sad, it really is.

A good example, is twice I have ordered the garden salad at Red Lobster with saying "No tomatoes and No cucumbers." BOTH times, the servers made the side ( Read more... )

What something sounds like is not necessarily what it is. So truthfully since some customers don't know how to order(I DO, because if I want one sauce instead of the other, I SAY SO, I don't beat around the bush about that), YOU SHOULD CLARIFY IT WITH THE CUSTOMER ( ... )

Maybe you should just stop shoveling so much shit in your mouth and make your own food if they are so stupid.

How about you just order it the way it comes? Or, here's a "unique" idea--stay home and make your own food! Lazy idiot!

"Or, here's a "unique" idea--stay home and make your own food! Lazy idiot!"

The wonderful thing is, 'everyone' doesn't have to think like that: we're just asking you to. The servers, bussers, kitchen staff, etc. would be much happier without your particular brand of vitriol.

"1. "No tomatoes and No cucumbers."
When people order this, then 99.99% of the time they want it plain. And since your one receipt has California on it, I'm assuming you live in the USA. Honey, we are a democracy. That means majority rules, hence I'll assume you're one of the 99% who want it plain. Of course, you assume too much as well - we might NOT HAVE onions, or we might have misunderstood. As I'm sure you're used to, making mistakes happen."

You are an IDIOT that is ASSUMING!!

I GO BY THE **********MENU*************** WHEN I ORDER, NOT BY SOME MADE UP ASSUMPTION AS YOU ARE!!

You want it 100% correct, you let the customer order from the menu and then you *ASK* THEM to make sure, you don't assume, unless it is something that is on the side that is free for the customer such as a condiment.

That's a google receipt. I don't live in California.

NO, majority doesn't rule, the *********(****

"Cashiers and servers cannot read your mind."

That's why they shouldn't assume and they should ALWAYS go by the ***MENU*** as well as what the customer says, NOT JUST what the customer says and NOT just what the menu says, BOTH COMBINED make an order.

You go by the menu and see I get marinara already. I don't have to repeat it since it's in the description in the item that I am ordering.

YOUR PROBLEM IS, YOU LIKE TO ******ASSUME******* AND TRY TO ***READ MINDS**** when I READ THE******************MENU*******************!!

YOU ARE THE MIND READER ASSUMER, NOT ME!! I go by the EXACT WORDING ON THE MENU AND MAKE MY ORDER just as most normal people do.
