I remember my first day of the treatment..ohdeargod, I thought I was dying. I had done my injection at the hospital, which was almost 3 hours from where I lived and drove home. I met my mentor teacher (I was doing my student teaching...that lasted about 1 month before I had to quit and move home because of how sick I got) and she immediately told me to go home. I got home and had 104 temp. Shaking, nauseated, pale, crying, sweating yet shivering...the works. Called my doctor who talked me down from my panic and allowed me to take some Ibruprofen. It was the longest 24 hours of my life -next to the miscarriages...THOSE are the longest days in my life, by far.
Thanks for all of your love and support over the last few days. Losing a child, no matter when, is hard.
