edit: All right, I'm back! And this was lovely! I really enjoyed the format, as well as seeing all these different facets of Cedric's life--his relationship with prof. Sprout, his defiance of Umbridge, his romance with Cho, and his efforts to get a job. Also, as a big Harry and Cedric fan, I liked the hints at their friendship as well.

I love AUs that really draw me in and make me wish they were real, and this does it perfectly. How different things might have been! I loved seeing the way Cedric's presence in Harry's fifth year changed the dynamics of various situations, particularly as regards Umbridge.

I liked this look at a normal-ish life during OotP. The worries of his parents, the letters between friends, the bits with Cho. I especially loved the job hunting. Not sure why, but that whole planning for the future while still battling Umbridge was just a fantastic image.

I like the style of this - it's new and lends itself well to the story you're trying to tell. I wish I could read more about this AU, though. It was fun filling in the blanks between letters and pictures, but I'm very interested in where Cedric goes after this now!
