Very original and enjoyable characterization of Charlie! I loved his interaction with his family, particularly Ginny. The last exchange was my favorite. Great job! :)

I LOVE Charlie. I wish he would transfer to a reserve closer to home though. I still want him to have a married happy ever. I may never forgive Jo for that one. Really well written, especially nice characterization.

Thank you so much for this! I just wanted to let you know that I have a crazy week ahead of me, and I'm only managing to sneak online for a few minutes at the beginning/end of every day. I am saving your story as a reward for when the crazy is over, when I can give it the attention it deserves.

I love how you've characterized Charlie. Not much is written about him and and to read this was a real treat. The fact that Charlie has missed out on his younger siblings growing up and is toying with the idea of quitting to get to know them better now hit home with me because I moved across country seventeen years ago and only get back home occasionally myself. I'm glad Ginny was able to help Charlie with his decision. She's good at that sort of thing.

Thank you so much for this! It's so rare to see Charlie in fic at all, and you characterized him very well here. I especially like how clearly you placed him in the context of a large family, how clearly he knows his role in it and how much he is aware of his younger siblings. Ginny's characterization is also very nicely done; she's a little sister, but not in an immature way, and you can see her obvious warmth for her siblings in spite of her frequent -- and quite reasonable -- annoyance with them. I can't wait to find out who you are so I can read more of your works :)
