Pssh. I know others did much more for you than I did, but if anything I said was helpful, I'm glad. Because there was no question you could pull it off - you've written so many long, amazing stories already, stuff that was as strong as anything being published, that lingers in my head ages after reading it. You're a fantastic fic writer and while I might not follow you into a fandom, I'll dip my toes long enough to read most anything you try out.

About this one:

The idea of a Pe'le immortal still strikes me as perfect for Highlander canon, btw. Rereading it struck me all over again. I also love that you took a Doylian facet (Danny and Matty not looking alike because the actors in reality aren't related) and ran with it, giving it a wonderful Watsonian reason. It's so fun to read on the meta level and the entertainment level when someone does something clever like that.
