DEG: Baltimore Show
Thursday
So thursday night we waited till Leah got off work and packed then headed out to Baltimore.
Everything was great. It was a wonderful cool day the sun was shining and traffic was good.
At least for a while.
Something about going to Baltimore now all of a sudden. Something is always stopping us or getting in the way.
This time. It was an accident.
So turned out what should have been about a 1 and a half hour drive turned into like...3 and half.
So, there we were sitting in traffic, My GPS going off every 10 mins telling us it was checking the traffic.
The traffic was stand still. We were in the middle of it. We knew what the traffic was like. Thanks.
But anyways. We finally made it through (No thanks to the suspicious looking Tree) And Made it to the Hotel.
The Fairfield Inn and Suites.
flipping gooorgeous hotel. And the staff was awesome. We had gotten a mix up with our room cause Travelocity Sucks. But they tried to Make it as comfortable as possible for us. They tried to change it but Travelocity put them on hold for a good Hour or so and finally the woman hung up and apologized to us. We were supposed to have two beds and ended up with One. But they gave us a roll away which was generally comfortable all things considered and I didn't mind sleeping there.
So after all that craziness we headed over to Rams Head to check it out. See what it was like. Where we were going and whatnot. After that we headed to McDonalds got some food then went back to the Hotel. Ate and chilled watching some Futurama. LoL Finally after Searching the halls for the Ice Machine and generally acting like 'tards we headed back and went to sleep for the night eager for the next day to Come. :D
Friday
So friday saw me waking up Nice and early at THREE IN THE FUCKING MORNING.
Seriously. I went to bed at like 11 or 12. Then got up at 3 and was Wide awake.
After trying and failing at getting back to sleep and realizing I was being loud and waking Leah up I headed down to the Lobby to just hang out and talk to ppl on MSN. LOL
I wanted to go smoke but the Hotel was all non-smoking and I was a big ass pansy to go outside since it was still dark out.
So I saw a guy who was staying there go out to smoke and followed him and sat with him talking to him since yeah. I'm a wuss. But he was nice and asked about why I was there. And talked about the concert and stayed with me till it got light out then went back to his room. LOL
So around 7am. I went back to the room and Leah got up. We both slept like crap but were excited and happy. We got ready (after much indecision about clothes) and headed over to Rams Head Livehouse again to check things out.
We went and asked about the tickets which they told us they'd start handing out later then headed around to the back there were the two buses Diru's was red. And yes I did almost Run smack into it. Cause that's what I do. (Nsync's bus was my first.) We walked by casually and some guy complimented on how he liked Leah's Shirts while his head was all about shoved in her boobs. LOL Later to find out it was one of their Tech support Guys. But that was pretty amusing. We hung around for a little while longer and I ended up calling Jess to ask her questions when Leah pointed and was like "Totchi?"
And Sure enough it looked like him but by then we were at the other corner and were far too far away to really give much of a rats ass. But we walked back that way and to the other corner then headed out to Subway to get some foods.
We got a 12 inch intending to split it but only ended up eating a bit of half. we were both nervous and BLAH. lack of Sleep and nerves do not work well.
We hung out a bit in Rams Head and just sat around waiting until x_chrizzl3_x showed up since she was supposed to meet us there.
so about 3:30-ish and after Much confusion about which Parking area Her mom choose to park in we finally found her and the 3 of us headed into Rams Head once again to hang out. We pretty much just talked and goofed off for a while. But the way Rams Head is set up you can see right down this hallway into the back and see the front of the buses. So I was all being a Nosey Shit. Like I generally am when Someone who Looked strangely like Kaoru walked out of the bus. We decided it was definitely about that time That I needed to smoke so we headed out there and Hung around off in a little corner away from the bus but could still see it.
But ya know. Just for future reference always check to make sure your not standing in front of a door. Cause right at that moment someone decided to open the door that was right behind me and I got smacked with it. I jumped, flailed and all but made a general ass of myself for the viewing pleasure of everyone that was on that Bus. Cause it's me. If anyone is good at making an ass of themselves in front of possible famous ppl. It's me. OTL
So the guy apologized and After getting over my embarrassment we Hung out just a little longer and continued to be general dorks (it's what we do right?). And by dorks I mean..."MONSTER TRUCK IS NOT PLEASED!!! DX"
Finally we headed back in, fooled and farted around for a while. Then split up cause Chissu was getting the ROCKSTAR pass while Me and Leah had VIP passes.
We stood in line for probably about a good Hour and half or so in a foggy- fishstick smelling hall. Seriously it smelt like Fishsticks in there. It was kinda gross.
On to the good stuffs.
Finally about 6:30 They started letting us in.
They led us to this hall where Nora handed out the Posters and Carabiners. We were told Handshakes and One picture with the band if we had a camera and that's it. I was far to busy staring at the FOOD that was right there I completely missed them walk out. It was till Leah was like "Oh hey there they are.." that I looked and was like.."lol he's short."
So they lined them up against the wall and we were on the opposite wall from them and pretty much just went down the line one at time getting handshakes and pictures.
So we went through the line and Leah was before me. I don't even remember watching her cause I was like "HERP DERP!"
Finally it was my turn and...It was awkward. It kinda went like this.
Shinya: *Holds hand out*
Me: *shakes hand*
Shinya: *All but sucks himself into himself*
Me: ._.
Seriously....That did not help me Nerves any. So Shinya made me even MORE nervous which was just fucking lovely since KYO was next.
Kyo: *Holds out hand*
Me: *Shakes hand but can't even look at him*
Kyo: *Firm handshake*
Me: *Digs nail into Kyo's hand by accident cause I was just way too nervous for this one.* >///<
Kyo: *Squeezes* >)
Me: *Trying to Move to Kaoru*
Kyo: *Crushes hand* >D

FINALLY Kaoru saved me and held his hand out and Kyo let go I didn't even know he was amused by it till Leah said something later about how he looked generally amused by the whole situation. lol I couldn't even look him in the face. But I was looking at the Tattoos on his hand. lol Very nice. LOL
Kaoru: *shakes hand* :| *serious Kao is serious*
Me: *scared* *Quickly moves to Toshiya* ._.
Seriously...Kaoru scares the shit outta me...End of story.
Toshiya: *shakes hand* THANK YOU!!!

Seriously? Did he have to scream it? LOL
Last was Die and seriously..I loved Die that day. LOL He was just awesome.
Die: *Shakes hand* Hello.
Me: *FINALLY looks up (yeah Kept My head down for all but him)* ._. hi.
Die: XD!!
Me: *squeaks*
Die: XDD!!
Seriously, he fucking laughed at me. jerk. LOL
But after it was all done Nora asked me if I wanted a Picture. I probably looked terrified and shook my head no. Die kinda tilted his head and gave me a "Seriously?" look then promptly laughed again and I ran and hid by Leah. LOL
So...
Diru: 1 = Neesha: OTL
So finally after that I managed to Recompose myself and we headed to the Merch table, Got what we wanted then headed to the stage. We got up to the stage and I was like "Wanna be between Kyo and Die!" So we headed over and It was like Compete open space there...No one was there. LOL I was like...."Kaaaaaaaaaaaay?" and just walked on over to the Rail. No fighting for the spot or anything. LOL No one was there. They all seemed to be crowded By the Middle. We hung out there for a while Before they started bringing The ROCKSTAR people in and found Chrissu and pulled her up with us.
So We noticed nothing was set up for Evaline when we got there. I guess something happened and they got in late cause a bit after the show was supposed to start they came running in rushing to set everything up. By then my back was hurting like hell from walking and standing and I was sick of listening to the Girl behind me bitch about how it unfair that the VIPs got in first cause she's been waiting around since 3am. Seriously If you wanted in first...Should've dished out the money for it. Sorry But I paid $125 for those tickets and I better have gotten a little more then a handshake.
But finally she quit and the Show started. Evaline wasn't BAD. They're actually kinda cute in that...Emo boy....type....way. Cept that the Vocalist really reminds me of my Friend Shane and that's a little creepy. Especially when he decides to climb up on the rail and Shove his CROTCH IN MY FACE. >.< Neesha was not pleased. Then he proceeded to Use me as a Leaning post while he decided to try and reach the ppl behind me. He's lucky I didn't just let go of his hand. He would've gone down. Or grabbed onto Leah or Chrissu anyways. xD
He also Almost completely wiped out when he Jumped off the stage. We were all just kinda like "Ouch" *cringe*
But for the most part ...He was entertaining I suppose. lol
So 4 Songs later and then staff came out to tear down Evalines Equipment and set up Diru's.
So there we were all giddy and excited and And here comes staff Pulling Kyo's fucking box up between the stage and Rail. We were all "o_O Kaay?" The stage itself is pretty small, So I guess they couldn't get it up there any other way. So for those who Don't know Kyo's Box..Is really like this Steel platform for him to stand on and make himself look taller since he's midgetized and all. But obviously being steel that thing isn't light weight. So there was, lets count them, ONE person Trying to push this thing on the stage and for a split second we saw that thing come crashing down on us.

What a way to go. I'm totally going to haunt his ass for crushing my hand...then my head with his box.
But Instinct Kicked in and like 4 or 5 of us grabbed it and helped push it onto the stage.
Where's our paycheck? We helped set up. lol
So they finished setting up and tuning. I can't tell you really much about the show. I can't remember what order songs were played or anything or what happened during which song.
But what I can tell you is that DIE WAS FUCKING SEX! He must of have like took a bath in sex or something cause Damn..Boy was workin' it. . . . ALL OF IT. Seriously I walked out of that show probably Hornier then I've ever been in my entire life. LOL
The show itself was just..Amazing.
But we couldn't Hear Kyo. I'm not sure if his Mic was just down really low or if it was because we were right smack in front of Die's speakers but We could NOT hear Kyo at all. But I found that it was really hard to pay attention to Kyo anyways. I could NOT drag my eyes away from Die.
And he fucking knew it. He knew he was sex that night. And he LOVED IT.
But for the most part it didn't much matter that we couldn't hear Kyo, but we made the best of it. And The Band just seemed fucking happy as hell. They interacted with the crowd Toshiya even leaned down to Touch people.
Hell even Kyo stepped off his box and walked to the edge of the stage and let people at least feel up his legs and shoes. lol
We saw a lot more Of Toshiya and Kaoru then I expected they migrated a good bit to our Side. Well. Toshiya was everywhere anyways. I swear they feed him CRACK before the shows.
Finally it ended and I was sad. lol
People were shouting for an Encore but They hadn't done one as of yet so I assumed they wouldn't for ours either.
Imagine how fucking Excited I was they came back out and played ZAN.
And they were ALL all over the place.
Die Came back out with a towel. He played with it around his head and shoulders for a bit. But kept losing it so eventually threw it out to the crowd....Right at us.
Chaos.
I think There was like 6 or 7 of us who dove for that thing. It ended up coming down to Me and Leah...

Yeah, We're still fighting over that fucking Towel. LOL
Finally it really did end and Me and Leah Went to the bar to get drinks. Then headed out for a smoke Break and to be nosy back at the buses.
Sadly we Missed Kyo. We were on the wrong side of the bus. LOL We saw him through the window though. Whatev.
We hung out around with other fans. I was texting Jess.
We were there for a good while. Minding our business just talking excitedly about the show when People started rushing to the bus.
One thing I've learned in my years is when others rush, don't stand there and go "WHATS GOING ON!?"
So Yeah. I was up in a flash and by that door. LOL
And good thing cause out comes Die. He gave some Hugs and I reached over Nora (Who was trying desperately to protect him from the crazies!) not even thinking and touched his arm and he turned and smiled widely and took my hand and said thank you.
I remember thinking it felt really weird cause When I reached for Him I called out to him. lol it just felt weird to call out "Die!" and get a response from him. LOL I don't know why. But it did.
I've heard lots of others encounters with Die. Some good, some bad. But For my own I must say I found him incredibly Kind and sweet. I'm sure the boy has good days and bad ones. But I never saw him without a smile. And he was very generous to the fans.
Finally me and Leah headed back in, watched the rest of Apocolyptica, Then headed back out to the bus section when it was over. We were sitting on the curb all quiet just taking in the days events when Leah turned to me and goes "Think we could make the Philly show?"
We talked a little about it then started to head back to the hotel. We went up and around the buses and when we looked between them There stood Kaoru. By the doors of the Venue. Everyone else was crowded by the bus so it was just Me and Leah walking by and he stopped like Mid lighting of his Cigarette and STARED at us. and we STARED right back. But made no move to him or anything just Kept walking (and almost ran into the bus cause I was too busy Staring at him). We walked around the bus and back up onto the sidewalk and when I looked back he was STILL staring at us. I think he was trying to figure out if we were gonna Squeal on him or not or Bring attention to his presence there but we didn't Just kept walking..cause Like I said...The man kinda sorta scares the SHIT outta me. lol. looking back at it I wish I would have at least waved. LOL
So we went back to the hotel pretty much dead from the lack of Sleep the night before, the headbanging and just all around getting down with our bad selves. LOL We decided to discuss the Idea of Philly that next morning, And then promptly passed out.
Sadly my phone takes crap blur pictures and They kept telling us no Cameras. So I don't have decent pictures from this show. But it's all good. Cause The show was awesome and I didn't really need them. LOL
