Goin to Zona!

Several months ago, vanraf invited me to visit her in Arizona, but the timing just hasn't been right. I was thinking of going this week while I have days off for Easter break, but the prices on my cheap airline that flies out of Great Falls, Montana (a three hour drive, similar to driving to the Calgary airport) went up because I waited too long to book ( Read more... )

Coooool! That's so fun. And, following through on your plan to be more spontaneous, clearly! I should follow suit, I have a 2 weeks off before my exam and am just twiddling my thumbs here... Hmmm.

I'm PLANNING to be more spontaneous in the future BECAUSE my flight prices went up so high. My dad said I should have just booked it a month ago at the low fare, and if I couldn't go for whatever reason, I could just take the loss. So in the future, I may spontaenously book something when I see a good deal, and then let fate take its course!

As for a trip for you: Do itttt! Sounds like you could use a break from life!

Have a fantastic time, Sarah. Looking forward to some photos, of course, but most of all I hope you get a good break and don't miss the freezing temperatures too much. :))
Have a good and safe one.

That's fantastic! Where in Arizona? I've been to Phoenix a couple times, and I think it's lovely. When Adam and I drove cross-country last month, we stayed at his aunt's house in the mountains northeast of Phoenix in a town called Payson, and I fell in love with the place. It reminded me of Colorado, with the mountains and Swiss-style homes. Have a great time, and take photos to show us!

Phoenix! Tempe, to be specific. ARIZONA HAS MOUNTAINS? Hahah, I seriously know nothing about it except that IT'S WARMER THAN HERE.

Photos will be taken!

Booo, I'm going to be there next month!

But regardless, have a blast. Try to get to Sedona if you can. One of the most beautiful places in the country. ♥
