Why? Just for fun? :p I never keep a balance on my CC so there was really no need for its absence. I'm glad I found it, because there are not a lot of places that take Amex and I hate using my debit card because I don't get Air Miles, hehe. :p

LMAO!! Gotta love your mastercard!! haha mine and I are not on speaking terms at the moment, but one day when the ridiculous amount I own on it (mostly from tack/equine related purchases) are paid off we can be friends again!

LOL, I find it hugely amusing that even in the US, Amex isn't accepted very many places! The only place I can think of here that takes it is Costco!

Yeah, it's too bad because like I said, Amex gives more Air Miles! But the merchant fees are higher on it, so while the customer likes it, it's no good for the merchant. I always ask if a place takes it anyway, though. Costco, Safeway, and Shell (as well as most other gas places) are the big ones for me that make it worth keeping around. I can use it through Paypal as well, and most other online merchants.
