2010, All in One Post: Get Out Your Reading Glasses!

My distinct lack of regular posting in 2010 is the closest I have ever come to taking an LJ hiatus. Although the last entry of any substance was made in August, I never intended not to write, and I didn't stop reading for the most part. But there were times that I was not only so busy that I couldn't write, but sometimes could not even keep up

I'm impressed you read all that already (OR DID YOU?) -- I'm still fixing the broken formatting, haha. :p But now it all looks good, so I'm off to bed... while you just start your morning! :)

WOW, awesome read. REALLY enjoyed that. my favourite picture is with the red canoe. just gorgeous. the video was great! really got a nice feel for sampson & wasn't just stupidly put together. you put a lot of thought & time into that.

didn't you buy a truck this year too? or was that last? man, time just blends...

Glad you took the time to take it all in! Yes, I love the red canoe too and in fact did up a version to add to my portfolio. If I hadn't done this post, I probably would have forgotten about those pictures entirely because I had already archived them!

And yes, I put a lot of work into the video for Sampson, but as I said, I think it helped tremendously. I wish I had done it earlier and I probably would have sold him sooner!

New truck was in July 2009 -- yes, time flies!

Facebook makes short updates in the moment easy, but it's easy for friends to miss out on them amongst all the other stuff that shows up on the news feed! I know I much prefer reading your updates on LJ than FB, although sometimes I do see pics on FB first. You, my dear, are one of the ones I admire most for keeping up with posting regular, interesting, and thorough content. I don't know how you do it! Have you ever taken a hiatus?

Wow, when you lay it all out like this you had quite an exciting year! You did so much I have to say I'm totally jealous. Go you! You're living the dream!

I agree with kateandjack - you are such an inspiration to grab life by the throat and throttle the hell out of it!

Thanks! I was kind of surprised at how much I did too, when it was all in one place! I never thought it would take that long to write up, haha, but I'm glad I did. It'll be good reading when I'm in my nursing home. :p
