It feels weird to be impressed by Busta Rhymes. But I'm listening to a Legend of Zelda / BR mash-up that seems to be working really well. Of course, it's not words, just sounds because I can't resolve much of what he's saying, but I might be happier that way. I realized a couple of days ago, when the BritBrunchers were commenting on my late late ( Read more... )

well, here's a question for you! What do you miss most about home? (you're still in england, right? Um. this may be a useless query if I don't have that right.)

My question would be 'tell me more about all of these things and then about all the things you haven't mentioned from the past 3+ years'! But, otherwise, it's just good to have you back, & communicating.

I tell you what, you can have one thing I didn't mention: I tried (and liked!) ecstacy two springs ago.

MY DOG WAS SO SOFT.

I've been good since then.

I haven't been gone; just lurking. It's my natural state, I think. Did you really miss me?

The one time I tried it, I HAD THE NICEST CAB DRIVER EVARRRRR.

Funny how that works. It's been a long time.

I'm sorry I haven't seen you in a while, but I think of you a lot. I know you don't think of me, but I do. I miss you awesome amounts.

I notice when people stop sharing their lives, yes. I know some of it is because I"m pretty much only interacting seriously here now, but some of it is because people drift away, which is sad.

Any trips planned? Where would you go if you could go anywhere?

I think I'm going back to south dakota twice this fall. Weddings and stuff. :( bleah. My ideal trip is still just a few years away... But someday I'm taking the V.S.S Enterprise up.

Now that you've been World Traveller Wouffles C-D for a bit, what's your favorite place to be?

Living in Tanzania was great but I definitely was over it after a while. I was in Reykjavík for the Iceland Airwaves music festival last year and loved it. Going back again for this year's festival.

The next place I want to go is Turkey.

Ridiculously, though, for the past few years I've been living and working in Arlington, the county where I grew up. It's pretty awesome though so I can't complain too much.
