OK, I feel vindicated now that the little bumps I thought I was feeling late last week have finally been confirmed by Craig. Our little man is growing his upper fangs. Hopefully the middle teeth aren't too far behind, or his little smile will be interesting

I 2nd your MIL's suggestion of the frozen washcloths. We also gave The Kids Biter biscuits to gnaw on, but they were probably a bit older than J is now. Your fingers, his fingers, nubby teething toys (if you have them, otherwise not an absolute necessity), rum, dose him with Tylenol if you think it will make you/him feel better. It's been a while for me, though, maybe someone with more recent experience has a more current suggestion.
