I know that some people participate in this NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month, I think), and I really have no aspirations to novel writing. However, playing around with writing with constraints can still be fun. So, I decided to try to write 200 words ... badly. It's the beginning of a story, and I decided that my theme would be channeling

Heh. I guess the poor writer I'm channeling isn't going for shock value, but is certainly going for very clever. And probably hopes to be subtle about it.
