Who are the five groomsmen?

I think that kind of thing happens a lot. At the country club it wasn't uncommon for a wedding to start out with two attendants and end up with six.

I don't know why the groomsmen couldn't be ushers. Then they'd HAVE to make sure Eric was there on time.

for my brother's wedding there were 5 bridesmaids and groomsmen, and then a junior on each side, plus a male and female usher. it was so many people to keep track of, heh.

groomsmen can totally be ushers.

i'd also like to point out that i like the phrase " [insert something that doesn't throw up] threw up " ...yeah. i like to talk about how halloween throws up all over my neighborhood, as does christmas. woo!
