171 Days
Hmmmmm 171 days doesn't seem that long does it?
I haven't been doing many updates and that's mostly because I haven't had much to tell you. :o) I think I'm going to run through a list of stuff so that I know what I'm doing and must do.
We've picked the BM dresses (they will be wine with black piping)
We've ordered the FG dresses (they will have different flowers and ribbons)
I've decided to go with Summit Manor's cake because it's one less thing to care about
We've picked out the tuxes
I've figured out who's walking with who (Cathy you'll be walking with Mr. James!)
We have an officiant and we've started our premarital classes/test thingy
I've decided on my dress
Need to get the order in for the BM dresses
Need to get Katie measured
Need to actually ask someone to be my maid of honor
Get invitation stuff from site
Figure out programs (both wording and look)
Contact the DJ we've been considering
Call the photographer
Register (in July perhaps)
Block hotel rooms
Contact harpist about ceremony music (so never thought my wedding would have a harpist...but I'm kind of excited about it!)
Pick second reading for ceremony (the first will be a pablo neruda sonnet)
Pick who is going to do the readings and who is going to speak at the ceremony
Plan a honeymoon!!! *drool*
Honestly I can't wait to start my dress. I went and looked at material not long ago, but didn't find anything we loved. So now I want to go look and find everything for fear of not being able to. If my dress is being made and I can go see the progress I will feel like the day is actually coming. Right now it's kind of like a fantasy. :o)
