I was dead set against a Where the Wild Things Are movie being made. Then I found out that the director was Spike Jonze. He did Being John Malkovich, and Adaptation, not to mention some of the best music videos of all time (Beastie Boys' "Sabotage", Christopher Walken Flying in "Weapon of Choice", Weezer's "Buddy Holly

Well that's one good vote for it...when I first heard about that movie, I couldn't imagine it being done well compared to the book, but...if what you say is true, then maybe I will go see it. :3

I never heard anything about it until I saw the trailer. I have to admit the trailer impresses me, and this from someone who as a rule despises children's books or movies.
