Just have to get this down. I'm super worried about Elliott. He's been sick and/or off for almost 2 months now. First the double ear infection and then weeks of diarrhea and now this terrible cold. He's been in to his dr a few times and all they say is "probably a virus" and while I'm glad to not be prescribed antibiotics, I just want to make this

Oh honey, I know exactly how you feel, to the letter. Niko was recently sick for 2 months and I cried at the doctor when she said it was probably a virus. I WANTED those antibiotics because I needed an answer. Niko ended up on them anyhow, and a load of benedryl, too, which was amazing because it let us finally get a few 4 hour stretches.

I hope he rounds the bend soon.

For what it's worth, THANK YOU for sharing your voice. Your journal has always inspired me. And thank you for posting this, because it's a great thing to know that I am not the only person who has felt the feelings listed.

Oh mama, having a sick baby is absolutely the most soul sucking, stressful, awful thing we go through as parents. Elias has been sick with three flu type things in a row and even with him being a big guy I'm just like "WHAT IN THE FUCK?! Can I catch a break, PLEASE?!" but the constant worry of an infant who is sick is flat-out torture
