It seems that many of my entering-the-3rd-trimester friends are feeling much like I am these days- UNCOMFORTABLE! I have been having this pain under my left boob that I thought was attributed to tight underwire bra but alas, new soft-cup-big-mama-boob-bra is providing no relief. I think the big mama boobs are the problem, not the bra. I will ask my ( Read more... )

Boy does pregnancy sound sexy! :D

I'm so glad to hear about it though - though I won't be there for at least another year, I'm so interested in what's in store!

i can't get off the floor without help..part of my job as a montessori teacher is to teach on the floor...the kids think it's hysterical that my feet go numb and i can't get up...little jerks ;)i had a lump removed from my breast last february and there wasn't a scar..until i got pregnant..it's a HUGE brown line over my nipple..mmm mmm. pregnancy is sexy...i get some great stray hairs too that just drive the hubby wild *snort*

yeah, I work with infants and toddlers so I'm on the floor a lot too. I've become dependent on my other teachers to do the getting up and down part because when I am down, I stay down :)

and oh those stray hairs are curious little things!

Holy crap, I can't believe you mentioned the nipple smear thing! I have the same thing. It looks like the extra pigmentation was applied with an airbrush and they didn't get the outline to match up just right. Giant brown nipples, total turn-on like you said.

so glad to hear that my nipples aren't only ones that look like rejects!

Oh and maybe you already do this, but I discovered today, after an afternoon of putting together furniture on the nursery floor and having to get up and down multiple times, that the easiest way of getting up off the floor for me is to go forward onto my hands and knees, then stand up butt-first and then finally straighten up my upper body. It looks a bit overdone, but it's a lot easier on both my back and belly than trying to go in one forward-directed standing-up motion. If that made any sense :-)

yep. I do that ever so graceful move quite a bit. The kids at work think I look silly and laugh at me but it's the only way I can get up!

My job makes it imperitive that I be able to squat down, sit down, and stand up on my own without holding onto anything. I am so used to it I think I could weigh 300lbs and still manage it. Lol. However, it hurts!

My boob pain has finally died down, They are regaining fullness but haven't gotten any bigger. My nipples are on the small side, of which I am grateful. I am finally feeling like my skin is getting a little tight around the abdomen but no new stretch marks yet, thank goodness and may it remain so!

Wish I could stop working now, it's so exhausting.
And oh my back! I could go on for days. Lol. I am going to the chiro Wednesday hoping to help it a fair bit.

not holding onto to anything?! I have to do the manuever stated above, going onto all fours to get up. I don't know how you do it. And I wish I had enough money so we could all stop working now. It sucks.

I have no idea how I manage it either, frankly. But when you have to bend down, squat down, get down on your knees to grab things, pick things up, and move things as often as every few minutes for eight hours... I just have to buckle down and make myself. I pretend I am skinny and limber, which doesn't work when turning sideways to walk between annoying customers that won't give me any space to get by and they sometimes get a belly in the arm or something lol. I have to remind myself that I now take up all the space in the room.
