http://www.blackboxvoting.org/ has done a lot of analysis on the Diebold machines, and there are definitely unexplained inconsistencies in some of the pivotal states in 2004. (Even ignoring their president promising Bush the election.)

I get that kind of things with video games a lot - both auditory and visual bedtime hallucinations. I've never had it with people's voices, that sounds extra disconcerting.
