Exhausted, haggard, wasted, tired. So tired stirring the chocolate for the fudge made my arms ache. Sigh. We baked yesterday and monday and today. Good lordy you make a lot of cookies. I think so far of all the people I've heard of in all the realms I move in, you and Julia are topping the list of most cookies/candies [I didn't count the breads].

Your springerle recipe must be different from mine (mine has to sit for a few weeks), so it would be fun to share sometime. Not that I've ever *made* my recipe, but my mom and grandma have.

Oh, and did you get free hot cocoa again? There wasn't any at the St. Paul stop, so next year we will bring our own -- it got pretty cold out there without anything hot to drink!

We didn't get cocoa this year but they did have hot cider for free. So it was nice for biggest who prefers cider and the rest of us were happy with anything hot :)

Ours has to be made and then sit out overnight in the open air (or longer- we do 24 hours or so).

This is my mom and myself together- not just me. I dont know that I could do it all on my own.

Well- don't forget I make them with my mom- not just me. I forgot the peppermint brownies and two other cookies. My brother requested cream wafers for christmas and my rents are in fl with he and sil for christmas so we had to make a 4th batch of cream wafers- we counted approx 30 dozen of the little buggers.

guess it sucks that we make a cookie so good that anyone who has one can eat a dozen in about 30 seconds- butter and cream and sugar and lots of time.... we filled the dining room table with just those while waiting to frost em.
