if you haven't seen the tv show Friday Night Lights yet, run, don't walk. season one is out on dvd. it's, in my opinion, exceptionally good.
i liked the movie Stardust (based on the Neil Gaiman book), which i recently saw, and i'm halfway through The Nanny Diaries (the movie). the book really depressed me, so i hesitated with the movie, but so far it's funny and not depressing. the movie Waitress is another new favorite.
Where can i get it? I am a dvd loser as in 99% come from the library so I am clueless. Someday we might do netflicks but as of yet we haven't. Would a video store have it?
I read the nanny diaries- I didn't mind the book (I was once a nanny though almost all of my experiences were so much better than those written :)) I heard the movie is super different- i will check it out along with Waitress. Thanks!
I just watched "intolerable cruelty" which was sweet, really. And "The Painted Veil" was a little slow, but not bad. I am now reading to to "spot the differences" :)
Have you read Eat Prey Love yet? It really is worth it, and pretty quick. For books, if you just want lists to peruse, you should check my memories as I have book lists there from various people going back to 2005!
