We are slow at work, so I decided to go see if my swimsuit has come off backorder yet.  And since it hadn’t I decided to do a little shopping, window shopping at the very least.

And I came across this.  You can see this girls ribs and her skin tone doesn’t even remotely look healthy, this is “sexy” how????

The short answer is that it is not sexy at all. It is however what designers, hollywood and advetisers try to sell the general public as being sexy.

Sadly a good number of women and men fall into the trap of believing it.

It also appears to be a more recent invention as well.

Wow, you would think with all the people on staff that have photoshop they really could have cleaned a bunch of that up. You know, smooth out skin tones, reduce the emphasis of ribs, etc.
