Sewing Advice

I own a couple bolero jackets, two in black one in grey.  I'd like to find a couple more, Ivory/White/Brown but they're not available.

I found a pattern, its 3/4 length sleeves like I want.  I like a more fitted bolero, more like a shrug...

Here is the real quetion, high quality knit fabric....how hard would something like this be to make??

What are you planning to make it from?

May I tempt you with some of the gorgeous soft bamboo knits at Jackman's?
:)

It's a very easy vogue pattern, so it ought to be straightforward and simple. I am going to suggest using a ball-point needle and ball-point pins for constructing it if you're planning to sew on knit.
That way you won't wind up with ugly holes along your seams.

Just be sure to switch back to sharp needles when you go to sew on woven fabrics again.

Do you work there in Creve Coeur? Thats very close to my office.

Do they have a wide range of fabrics?
