and apparently that's what happened here, the mayor or whoever in this town didn't even want to talk about impeachment, but it soon became clear that nobody was going home until they voted about it
yeah I'd love a shirt like that, too. Until then, I'll be rocking my "Kerry/Gore 2004" t-shirt ;) ok not really but I do have one! I have to wonder how things would be different if Kerry had waited until 2008 to run. Everyone blamed him for his antiwar activism back during Vietnam...these days though, now that it is becoming obvious to the masses that this war is a spectacular failure, they might want someone willing to take an antiwar stand like that.
I have to say though, I don't really understand why everyone is so reluctant to impeach. Sure, it's not something politicians enjoy doing, but that didn't stop them with Nixon, or Clinton. Why is this situation different?
