Last week was a historical period for any Arashi international fans out there. First they did the JET STORM meet and greet relay from Jakarta, Singapore, Bangkok, and Taipei in just 1.5 day, which made anybody who hit the ballot so happy as they finally get to see Arashi in flesh, not just on the laptop screen. We didn't hit the ballot, BUT ... the Jewel at Changi Airport opened it up to 1000 fans to be allowed in the enclosure so ... even if we couldn't see them great - because of 998 people in front of me with handphones and tablets ... I was there WITH my girl, ... and we couldn't hear them brilliantly because the announcer/translator/interviewer person was soft spoken coupled with a shit sound system ... IT WAS AMAZING ( ... )

Lucky you!!! My brother didn't even get me a shot of Aiba, sobs! I'm glad Arashi fans in Singapore were civilized. I find most of J-pop fans are civilized and respectful towards their idols. Very different from K-pop fans behavior.

I'm in Oz most of the time now. I'll be back to Singapore during Chinese New Year, maybe we can meet up before I fly to Jakarta?

I still can believe what is happening in Arashi fandom ♥ I am soooo happy, even though it is hard to keep up with all updates while also studying at uni. I am so glad they visited south Asia, they have so many fans there. It is so cute your brother went to see them haha :D ( ... )

What feels surreal for me is the IG story quality, it's really exactly the same quality that we get from the Concert DVD documentary, those random member cam and shots. Instead of waiting for DVD, now we're getting it almost real time and like you said, we can leave loving message for them.

There're some disgruntle as well when V6 Okada got married. He married Miyazaki Aoi to boot after the big hooha couple years ago. But off course V6 is not at national idol level like Arashi, hence the disgruntled was left as whispers and then came acceptance. I think by now, the hate has died down too. Arashi as a whole won't loose that much, unless they keep targeting tweenies for their fanbase.
