What's Vox?
I'm not hip any more.

It's another blog software/site by the same company that makes LJ.

Supposedly it's for older people (whatever that means in every sense of the word) and improves on LJ (ditto).

I'm looking it over in another window.
Will I be allowed to swear?
I love swearing. I'd miss it terribly.

The explanation they gave is that livejournal users are 'independent' and vox is more 'turnkey'. Hence the 'for older users' perhaps.

I'm really beginning to like vox, despite not being able to reply directly to comments. The adding of the books and audio and pics is neat and easy. Will add you, if ya don't mind. I'm Nemain over there.

Added you as well, thanks!

If you can't thread comments, though, vox could lose hard. I love my trn style threading on LJ.

Yeah, I love threads in comments. It's half the appeal of LJ. I do agree that if vox doesn't pick up a similar concept, it won't make it. People are too used to it.
