1) I will hopefully be getting the iphone 4S soon. I spoke to my parents about it Friday. It'll be cheaper for me to just stay on the family plan and pay them the extra $30 a month for the data fees. Still haven't work out the details yet, so I'm not sure how soon it'll be though. I'm looking forward to it because I've been wanted to get an ( Read more... )

Glad you had a nice weekend :) and those brownies sound yummy!

I've given up on Pottermore for now because it was just driving me crazy! I was having exactly the same problems with potions, right down the the beazor situation and the melting even though heat wasn't exceeded. It's so frustrating and I was going through cauldons and ingredients like wildfire which was spending my money, so I'm giving it a break for a bit in the hope they'll sort some of the glitches out because using it like this is making me to angry lol.

I still haven't given up on Pottermore quite yet. Its kind of become a challenge for me to see how many house points I can earn with the galleons I have left. For some reason, the potions were just extra glitchy this weekend. :/ I made three potions (antidote, sleeping draught, and wideye) this evening without any glitches or melted cauldrons. Either I got the hang of things again, or they've deglitched things a bit...or I was just lucky.

As for the potions ingredients, did you know that for the ones you find in the chapters (like bezoar and mistletoe berries, etc), you can go back and collect them again once you use it? That can save a lot of galleons. I only wish I had discovered that before I spent a bunch of galleons stocking up on ingredients like billywig stings and wolfsbane that I can get for free in the chapters.

You're not the only one having problems with Potions. I know a lot of other people who are frustrated with it. For now, I've left it alone until they work out the kinks - if they ever do. Really, I'm more interested in getting the little tidbits of info from JK Rowling.

The new content from Rowling is definitely more appealing to me than the potions, but unfortunately, I've already gone through it all, and they aren't opening up book 2 until 2012. :(

I've noticed that potions are more finicky on some days than others. Last weekend was a bitch, but today, I've brewed several potions successfully without many issues. I know I shouldn't sink too much time into it, but its kind of turned into a challenge to see how many house points I can earn with the galleons allotted. Since I plan on creating another account and having another go at the sorting quiz when they open the site to everyone, I'm not concerned about spending all my galleons. I am however, worried that I'll be burned out on it once they finally open to new accounts, so maybe I should lay off a bit.

So, what are they building across from you?

Pottermore drives me insane. I haven't been on in ages because of the glitchiness...therefore, I have hardly any points. I'm impressed by the amount of points you've earned. AWESOME! GO YOU!!

♥ the Garfield strip. It made me chuckle.

Someone at work said that they heard that more apartments or condos or some sort of housing development was being built, but I don't know for sure ( ... )

I despise the color yellow, so I figure it was my lot to be sorted into Hufflepuff. I can't say what I think of Hufflepuff. I might be killed. ;)

LOL! Oh, please do tell me what you think of Hufflepuff! I promise I won't kill you. ;-) Its nice to talk to someone who also doesn't like how they were sorted.
