Traveling

What is if with these jeans? This is the second time I've been stopped at security while wearing them because the person looking at the xray backscanner thought there was something in my pocket. In fact, there is absolutely nothing in my pocket. Two TSA pat downs in as many months. I guess I shouldn't use these as my flying/traveling jeans ( Read more... )

I always get stopped, too, but I wonder if it is just TSA giving me a hard time because I work at the airport, lol.

Safe travels!

I have decided I just look suspicious because since I was about 12 I haven't traveled without being selected for the random extra scan thing they do (I apologise for my lack of correct terminology haha). It was pretty frightening for a 12-year-old might I add! How odd that the jeans do that, I can't begin to imagine why!

Glad you journey so far has been without difficulties and I hope that it will remain so. Safe travels!

Oh yum, peppermint anything. That sounds amazing!

Oh my! That must have been quite scary as a kid. I've never had any sort of issue getting through security until these last two trips. I don't know what it could be about these jeans, other than the fact that the back pockets have buttons on them. :/ Its never been an issue with regular metal detectors, but I guess maybe it looks suspicious on this new scanner technology they're using.

My bra usually sets it off. *shakes head* This is the first time I wasn't stopped and wanded. I was amazed. Then again, I think they were overly concerned with whether or not my cane was full of explosives. :) Though, these were the friendliest/most helpful TSA agents I've ever met.

Have a wonderful time with your family!
