Thanks. I always thought Joyce got a bit of short shrift in the show. She grew a lot through the seasons until they killed her off!

I like how you handled this. Buffy really did care about Riley, and I don't think she'd have wanted to hurt him.

Very believable Joyce too. I'm a sucker for Joyce and Spike interacting; and I like the way you wrote her here. Very three-dimensional. Nicely done!
