I have a new cat

Last night I went for a walk and I passed what is best described as the town cat lady's house. And all these kittens and cats came bounding out to meet me. There were about 5 kittens that looked to be from the same litter - and they all had an egregious amount of eye pus. One had about 1 1/2 inches of it protuding out of it's right eye. One of

Sweetie, that is always a hard thing to deal with. The cats are probably suffering so you probably did the right thing.

And if there as many as you say there are, I'm sure some of them may find homes with staff members. My sister used to work for the humane society in Austina nd was always bringing home little cats and dogs that no one wanted and finding them homes herself.

And it sucks so much that you'll have no Clay money. *hugs*

And I sound like a martyr in my post, when really - this cat is so friendly, and purrs loud enough to be heard in the next county. I'm pretty lucky.

Take yourself to the concert anyways! Skimp somewhere else! You deserve it! Yes, some of the kitties might be put down, but you know what? Most of them would have died at the hands of crazy cat lady. At least at a shelter they might find homes!

Ollie was the victim of a 40 cat crazy lady. He was supposed to lose his eye, but the medication really helped and at the last minute they decided to keep it. He officially has eye herpes, so everyonce and while, his eye get watery. We medicated it and wipe it up. But he's a happy kitty. Most of his siblings died in the house or in the transport from W. Virginia. And what you did will insure that someone else gets a happy albeit special needs kitty.

I didn't know that about Ollie. Aw - I'm glad his eye is better.

My cat's eye doesn't have a cornea anymore, so there's no hope.

And I'm the hugest idiot, because usually it takes me a while to name a cat, and when the vet's office kept asking me it's name, I was all - I don't know. But DUH! He's a one-eyed cutie! His name is Xander.

Can you have more than one kitty because Toonses has herpes? We've been thinking of getting Ollie a playmate.

Aw, there's no good in those overpopulated cat situations. No good for them to be suffering. And you gave one a home! Love to you and your new kitty.
